Chinmaya Chikitsalaya commenced operations in August 2020 to augment medical facilities in Prayagraj and to mitigate severe shortages precipitated by the Corona pandemic. 90% of the patients are Covid patients. The Chikitsalaya is equipped with five beds and an oxygen supply.
15 reputed senior doctors provide their services on a part-time basis daily, all of whom are attached to various well-known hospitals in Prayagraj. Very nominal fees are charged for consultation, so the doctors and volunteers are able to serve patients who cannot afford hospital fees.
